Jamie I tin can guarantee y'all this stuff doesn't "repair" or "rebuild" anything. It'south an oil additive, the only mode it tin can help create a better seal for the presumably worn piston rings is to thicken upwardly the oil. I remember working at SCA when nosotros got that stuff and it'due south a really thick additive.
So essentially information technology can't actually be much different from running a thicker oil.

How is my exam invalid ? When my car was warmer information technology did 140psi and when it was colder it did 170? I'll do another exam with information technology warmer and will you so exist pleased? But is it not possible that that the chemicals react with the hot spots or something I'm not saying it rebuilt or repaired anything because it's scientifically impossible without any chemical hardeners or solid deposits simply if something was sticking or wasn't sealed properly that this worked ? Therefor Stock-still my issue..... Mayhap information technology did peradventure it didn't but my driving experience is much better and the power is completely dissimilar so if you don't take the time or money to do a rebuild or supercede the engine why non?

It's not bad if it seems to have improved somewhat but all I'm maxim is try just using a thicker oil next fourth dimension equally information technology's essentially the same matter. The trouble with additives is that they leave deposits everywhere within your engine which isn't skillful in the long run.
Only yep basically the "rebuild" and "repair" claims on the label of the canteen are very false.. haha.
Also consider trying the test again with a different brand of pinch tester just to be certain. Compression testers aren't the most authentic tools which is why y'all mostly just look for consistency rather than large numbers.

Goodness gracious me and heavens to betsy! I haven't seen this sort of stuff for.............................................. What it is, is a goo that gums upward your peak piston rings so they seal a flake ameliorate, don't expect information technology to last. Several different brands brought it out, also 'sposed to stop bearing knock. If your engines starting to use a bit of oil etc, go to a heavier course, 20w-50 or even 25w-threescore. That stuff will ruin your engine. (mind you lot, doesn't sound to healthy anyhow)
